Summit Historic Home

For a home originally built in 1903, Corey Damen Jenkins & Associates helped a couple honor the best of the past, while introducing some new visual ideas for the 21st Century. For example, in the foyer, historic interior architectural moldings were carefully restored during this full renovation process and paired with geometrically patterned wallcoverings for a sense of modernity. In the formal dining room, a set of antique Queen Anne side chairs were reupholstered in ostrich leather and married with a pair of new reproduction host chairs and a vintage Regency dining table. Inspired by one of the wife’s summer dresses, the “Candy Crush”-themed living room’s walls and coffered ceiling are treated in a pale pink lacquered finish, while a vintage sofa and chairs are recovered in vibrantly colored fabrics.
