This 1,200 square foot condominium is a prime example of what Corey Damen Jenkins calls “eclectic exuberance” in his book Design Remix: A New Spin on Traditional Rooms (Rizzoli). Seemingly disparate design elements like chinoiserie credenzas, Louis XVI-style mirrors, African sculptures, modern art and fretwork chairs are unapologetically mixed together with aplomb. A warm color scheme of saffron, cerulean, emerald, robins egg, and chocolate gives each space a restrained backdrop so that unusual finds from world travels and personal collections can be highlighted.
